Head of secret police in Vienna forced to resign because of Umar Israilov's murder

Publication time: 3 September 2010, 17:53

The head of Vienna's Office for Protection of Constitution and Fighting Terrorism, Werner Autericky, was forced to resign from his post, according to the Austrian newspaper Österreich.

The "antiterrorist" served at this post as much as 5 years. The chief of Austrian police (secret police in Austria is subordinated to the Interior Ministry) Gerhard Purstl said:

"The personal file of Dr. Werner Autericky is "as pure as blood" (blütenrein). According to the newspaper, the chief Viennese secret policeman is going to work now in a "private business" (probably, with Gazprom? - KC).

The newspaper said that Autericky was fired because he failed to provide police protection for Umar Israilov.

Werner Autericky has been already summoned for interrogation to the prosecutor's office for Monday, September 6.

It is to be noted that the links of Austrian government officials to the Russian KGB-FSB, are not a criminal offence or even not a misdemeanor in Austria.

Moreover, according to the Austrian parliamentarians, the resident of the Russian terrorist gang of the KGB-FSB in Vienna, "a diplomat in the Russian Embassy in Austria" and a FSB colonel Said-Selim Peshhoev, has even a personal office in the modern building of the secret police in the central Vienna street Ring, from where he directs the work of Austrian "anti-terrorists".
