KGB search engines in Russia completely block Kavkaz-Center

Publication time: 24 August 2010, 13:00

According to some Russian websites on foreign hostings, Russian-language search engines belonging to the international terrorist organization of the KGB (FSB), Yandex, Rambler, and Mail.Ru, have completely blocked the Kavkaz Center in their fight against the truth.

"Russian search engines are blocking websites of North Caucasian Mujahideen, because it is impossible to get an access in Russia to some websites. For instance, national search engines such as yandex.ru, rambler.ru, mail.ru have completely blocked a direct access to the website of the North Caucasian Mujahideen, kavkazcenter.com.

Asked about the reasons of censorship for the resource, the information center of one of the above mentioned companies said that the website is not banned, and that "a website is being only blocked by the provider if there is a violation of a so-called (Russian) "law" and if the resource is infected with a virus".

Meanwhile, an analysis of search engines showed that in partial blocking of the resource, the search engine motivates the denial of connection by a risk of contracting a virtual virus. At the same time, such portals as Yahoo and Google do not detect any virus", a Russian website, Ingres.com, writes and recalls that an access to the Kavkaz Center website has been blocked by a local provider by a decision of a so-called "court" in Nalchik in 2009.

However, this practice can only act locally, and the ban could be imposed only to a local ISP.

Earlier, several so-called "laws" of Russia about mass media and censorship in the Russian "criminal code" have been adjusted at the initiative of Russian terrorist gang of the "Russian prosecutor's general office". The amendments simplified the fight of Russian terrorist gang of the KGB against the truth, the portal says.
