So-called fiery storms, which were not observed in previous years, emerged in the hotbeds of fires raging in central Russia, the head of the civil defense department at the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia Sergey Shaposhnikov said.
According to him, this phenomenon leads to casualties among Russians.
Fiery storm is one of the forms of distribution of a continuous fire, during which a very rapid upward flow of combustion and heated air and inflow of fresh air with a minimum speed of at least 50 kilometers per hour are produced.
The situation is severe and is getting worse every day. The Kremlin was also forced to recognize this. The formal Russian ringleader Medvedev instructed his "defense ministry" to assist in suppression of wildfires in the central part of Russia.
Medvedev ordered his defense ministry "to use all necessary forces and capabilities to assist in fire suppression", the press service of the Kremlin said.
The reason for using the army is possibly the fact that more and more Russians are getting infested with Siberian plague (anthrax) which appeared in some Russian regions.
It is unclear yet if it is due to another leak of Russian bacteriological weapons. Involvement of the army may indirectly indicate that such a leak nevertheless occurred because of fires and hellish heatwave.
According to Russian media outlets, at least 5 peasants from the village of Bekeshevo, Tyukalinsk district of Omsk region, near Omsk, were hospitalized with a diagnosis of "Siberian ulcer" (AKA anthrax, or Siberian plague). Two of them are in critical condition and probably died already.
"The district veterinary service confirmed a diagnosis of anthrax with two peasants. The village was put under the quarantine, homestead round has been conducted. The specialists examined all the cattle and the villagers, but had found nobody else infected.
Therefore, it is possible that another leak of bacteriological weapons occurred from some secret military plant. Russia is known to have secret storage and improving of forbidden arms in violation of all international treaties, which is traditional for this country. Anthrax is the most common and widespread type of bacteriological weapons.
A large number of secret Russian factories producing chemical and biological weapons are located in Omsk and near it.
It is to be recalled that military Legionella pneumonia leaked in late July 2007 from a secret Russian military factory in the Urals in the Yekaterinburg township of Upper Pyshma.
On March 30, 1979, in Chkalovsky area near Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg) there was an atmospheric emission of a new strain of anthrax from a secret underground military factory producing biological weapons "Military Biology Center Sverdlovsk-19" located in the southern part of the city. Some Western newspapers reported at that time that the leak had been deliberately organized by Russian military to test the strain on people.
Siberian ulcer, or anthrax, is one of the most dangerous diseases of infectious nature. Mortality reaches 100%.
Meanwhile, dozens of people have been already killed by hellish Russian fires. The real number of burnt alive and wounded Russians has not been reported, which is typical for Russia. Russian authorities argue that there is only a few thousand people who lost their homes. However, according to circumstantial evidence and reports from the field, the number of burnt and wounded Russia and the scale of destruction are extremely high.
Radio Liberty reported the evidence of an employee of the Forest Project of Greenpeace in Russia Grigory Kuksin. He believes that the real extent of forest fires and the casualties among Russians due them are several times underestimated, as usual, by authorities.
Local authorities are in no hurry to report all cases of fires to the Emergency Ministry, hoping that will cope on their own, but often they do not succeed. According to the Voluntary Society for extinguishing fires, 27 million Russians live "outside the normative availability" for fire protection - which means that in case of fire, there will be no time to reach them.
Reports about firestorms come also from Moscow.
Forest fires are getting closer to the Russian capital. In some municipalities of the Moscow region, the state of emergency was imposed on Friday.
"The state of emergency, in particular, envisages a complete ban for people to stay in forests, as well as a special regime for accreditation for mass-media with the Disaster Ministry in Moscow region for field work in the fire areas, to ensure better censorship", reported the press service of the Moscow region governor Boris Gromov.
