Jews destroy Muslim cemetery to build museum of 'tolerance'

Publication time: 22 July 2010, 20:11

According to the Palestinian Information Center, a committee for reconstruction of Muslim cemeteries in Al Quds (Jerusalem) said that the "Israeli" occupation authority is still unearthing and destroying the ancient Muslim cemetery in Al Quds (Jerusalem), the Mamanullah (or Mamillah) graveyard.

The Zionist authorities intend to build not only the so-called "Museum of Tolerance" in the ancient burial place of Muslims, which is located near the gate of Al-Khalil, in the west of Al-Quds, but also a complex of administrative buildings. Literally on human bones ...

The cemetery is the largest in Palestine, there are graves of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) there.

More than 62 years ago, the "Israeli" occupation began desecrate Muslim burials, exposing and destroying the graves, and building parks, museums, hotels, bars, schools and parkings on them.

The committee claims that new plan of the Zionists foresees another wild blasphemy: buildings of central "Israeli" "court" will be constructed on the burial places.

The committee called these acts of vandalism as declaration of religious war against Muslims around the world.

The Islamic-Christian committee in support of Al-Quds and the holy sites warned that "Israel" is planning to make comprehensive changes in the area of Al-Buraq in Al-Quds as part of overall plans for Judaizing the Holy City and its transformation into one of the world largest "Jewish temple".

The commission stated that Al-Quds and its Arab citizens face a real danger, especially after "Israel" intensified its efforts to Judaize on unprecedented scale.

In recent years "Israel" demolished 88 Palestinian houses in Al-Quds, and expelled 1500 Palestinians from the area of Sylvan, near the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
