Russian invaders arrest Ossetian girl because she accepted Islam

Publication time: 8 March 2010, 17:56

Fatima Bagayeva, an Ossetian Muslim and a resident of Buro (Vladikavkaz), is accused of storing and transporting explosive materials.

On February 23, 2010, the 22-year old Fatima was heading in a taxi to the municipal train station of Nazran for a trip to Moscow, but she was detained at the Cheremenski road police post by the Russian infidel soldiers, supposedly to "conduct an inspection."

Russians called the girl by name and and took her away from the taxi not even allowing take her luggage or take witnesses from among the other passengers. After 10 minutes, the members of the MIA [Ministry of Internal Affairs] brought her bag to the inspection room. They then called two witnesses and asked Fatima to show them the contents of the bag. When she opened it, she found a cosmetics set that did not belong to her.

When the set was opened, two detonators and 200 grams of ammonium were found inside. So they accused the Muslim girl of the "illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, possession, transport and carrying of firearms, their main components, ammunition, explosive materials or explosive devices."

Even the puppet Spiritual Department of Ossetian Muslims doubted that Fatima, a medical student, was transporting explosive components.

According to Islamkom.org, Fatima was wearing a Hijab. First, the police took another girl from the taxi. She was also dressed according to the canons of Islam, but she was immediately returned to the taxi. Then they called the name of Fatima. In other words, they were hunting after her from the very beginning.

The Russians write in a special statement:

"The investigation is examining in detail the version that the arrested person is connected with the activities of the militants. The behavior of Bagayeva from the moment of her detention gives indirect witness to this, as demonstrated in her attempt to get rid of physical evidence in the form of a cell phone. Answering the questions of a detective about the reasons for it, Bagayeva explained that the phone contained information about her contacts with like-minded people living in Ingushetia and Karbardino-Balkaria."

However, the Fatima's lawyer Zalina Bestayeva announced that the "investigation" was falsified from the very beginning.

In the investigation prison where the Muslim girl is being held, the warders forced Fatima to remove the Hijab.

According to Islamkom.org, the main reason why the Russian invaders became interested in Fatima Bagayeva was that after the girl accepted Islam, her close relatives applied to the FSB [Federal Security Service]. The people there listened to the relatives and said that they would take "measures".
